Blue Top Ridge at Riverside is an 18-hole resort golf course located in Riverside, Iowa. The course is part of the Riverside Casino and Hotel entertainment complex.
Blue Top Ridge Golf Course first opened for play in August 2007. The course was designed by Rees Jones.
Blue Top Ridge Golf Course can be a big boy way long challenge From the back tees the par-72 course plays to 7,505 yards with a 77.2-course rating and a 141 slope rating.
Blue Top Ridge Golf Course has remarkable variety, with three different landforms, prairie, river plain, and hillside. The front nine begins in a prairie, before descending at the 4th to a river plain (a trio of holes are set on the Iowa River). The back nine is carved into a hillside adding drama. There is a wonderful ebb and flow to the course, but the finishing stretch will resonate, especially the #16, a 665-yard par-5 monster, with a creek splitting the landing areas. This is the longest golf hole in Iowa.
Don't be intimidated, there are also four sets of other tee boxes including Green tees playing to 5,789 yards and the forward tees set at 5,191 yards.
Reese Jones nailed the routing and design on this one, it's the perfect host for the Iowa Open each year.

They have put in new holes to replace the river holes that had consistent flooding problems. They are the most expensive course in the area. I play when they offer specials. They have a lot of staff around but not very good at servicing the customer, especially at the price. But the golf course is worth playing. The course makes it worth while.
